Barbara Bussart 

Historian/ Archivist

Barbara was born in North Carolina, grew up in the Chicago area, and has lived in upstate NY, the Detroit area, Phoenix, Tacoma WA, and southwest Virginia before coming to Rhode Island in 1991. She has been involved in music since she was about 3 (junior choir at church), and handbells since 1988. Barbara has an undergraduate degree in technical theatre (stage management), and a masters in library and information science. She is the Chief Information and Adult Services Librarian at the Woonsocket Harris Public Library in Woonsocket, RI, for 8 1/2 years. She attends the Calvin Presbyterian Church in Cumberland, where she sings in the adult choir, directs a small vocal ensemble, and plays in both the JuBellation Ringers and the quartet 4 His Praise. She also sings with the SOS Swing Band.
