Dan Moore is the immediate past chair (25 years) of the Department of Performing Arts, Wheeler School, Providence, RI. He has been involved with handbell ringing as an educational tool for students and served in AGEHR in many capacities: National Liaison for Handbells in Music Education, Area I Chair, and member of the National Membership, Publications, Certification, and Director Education Committees. Mr. Moore's handbell textbook for ringers and directors, "Ringing Right from the Beginning" has been published by AGEHR. His audition high school handbell choir has performed throughout the country and at opening concerts for both national and regional festivals.
