Nancy Reynolds has been a member of the South Church Handbell Ringers in St. Johnsbury, VT for 19 years. She received her BS in Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut in 1970 and her M.Ed. in Special Education from the University of Vermont in 1993. Because of her interest in insuring the physical safety of ringers and the belief that there are ways of including anyone interested in the experience of ringing, Nancy agreed to serve on the Area I Board as Special Needs Liaison, about 8 years ago. Nancy has also served on the Board as Chair Elect and Chair, and is presently Past Chair. She has presented information related to safe ringing styles, as well as appropriate exercises and accommodations to prevent injury and enhance the ringing experience at many local, state and Area I events. She is committed to doing her part to increase the longevity of ringing for those who love this experience. Up until her early retirement in June, 2007, Nancy provided PT services to children in the St. Johnsbury School District. Presently she is a full time Grandmother to her Granddaughter, Danielle, and loving every minute of it.
